Ja kes on Evelin? Koduperenaine, kelle pärusmaa on transrasvad, kaalust mahavõtmine ja rulluisutamine. Mitte et see peaks presidendi abikaasa puhul tingimata nii olema, aga selliseks on Evelin ise oma imago kujundanud. Minu sõnu võib kinnitada presidendi kantselei töötaja Piret Pert, kes on Evelinist kirjutanud magistritöö „Eesti Vabariigi presidendi abikaasa Evelin Ilvese kuvandi analüüs soo aspektist“ (vt siit). Vaat nimelt, soo aspektist. Sest teisi aspekte pole kuskilt võtta.
Ja nüüd teatab seesama Piret P., et Hiina-seltskond koosneb 18-liikmelisest äridelegatsioonist, majandus- ja kommunikatsiooniministeeriumi juhitavast logistikadelegatsioonist, Eesti suuremate ülikoolide rektoritest, kultuuriministeeriumi ja EAS-i esindajatest (ÕL). Pluss Evelin. Kellele riik annab küll kleitide ja huulepulga raha, ent seda ikka THI kõrval ontlik väljanägemiseks, mitte ilma temata lõbureisile minemiseks.
Kas te kujutaksite ette, et Sarkozy saadab Carla kuskile Prantsusmaad esindama? Kas Obama ütleks Michelle'ile, et kuule, mul on kurk valus, edenda minu eest väheke Lähis-Ida rahuprotsessi? Aga ega Evelin Toomas Hendriku käest ei küsigi, sest muidu ütleks THI ilmselt: Evelin, kuule, see ei sobi. Evelin, ma olen nii haige, jää minu voodi juurde, keeda mulle teed, loe mulle ajalehte ette. Kes peab siis nüüd haigele presidendile teed keetma, kas Piret Pert või? Või viimati Toomas Sildam, ah?
Ja mis sõnumi annab Evelini sõit kõigile koduperenaistele, kelle iidol ja vaimne ema ta on? Vastus on lihtne: Evelin ei armasta Toomas Hendrikut. Armastav naine jäänuks tõbist meest põetama, mitte ei lehviks mööda ilma ringi.
Ma ei poolda ihunuhtlust, aga väikesed vitsad võiks Evelin saada küll. Muidu arvab ilmarahvas, et THI on tuhvlialune, kelle sõna midagi ei maksa. Meie oleme aga näinud salapärast muhku hoopis presidendi peas (vt siit ja siit). Kuidas saab riiki juhtida mees, kes oma naisestki jagu ei saa?

Minu arust Evelin käis esindamas Eestit neil kohtumistel, mis tema jaoks oligi juba varem kokku lepitud.
